Best of all, the project manager you meet at the beginning remains on the job throughout – responsible for every stage from estimating and preconstruction through construction management, close-out, warranty and follow-up. At every stage, your concerns are addressed directly by the person with power to make decisions.

Clay StackerOwner/PresidentClay Stacker has over 16 years experience in the construction industry. He has lived in the Middle Tennessee area for some time and earned a Bachelors at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Growing up the son of an architect, he had the opportunity to hear and see things from the design perspective of building, which gives him a unique perspective on the industry. Clay has worked hard to make his priorities for business show throughout every aspect of SouthLand's work. He realized early on that strong, positive relationships between clients, subcontractors, and employees are crucial to a successful build. Under his leadership the company continues to grow and fulfill his favorite part of the job: watching customers' building dreams become reality. When not working, Clay enjoys time with his wife, Cheryl, and their two sons. Time with the boys often involves UT, Titans and Predators games, as well as golf. |

Tony HarrisVice-PresidentAlong with a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology, Tony has over 19 years of experience in this industry. He enjoys working on projects from concept through construction, especially on medium-size projects where the daily contact person is typically the end user. Keeping the many facets of a construction project on schedule, in budget, properly communicated, and ultimately completed on time, gives Tony an exciting opportunity to utilize his knowledge and persistence to ensure a positive experience for everyone.When not on a job site, Tony enjoys spending time with his wife, son and their Italian greyhound, Abbey. |

Matt ArnettVice President, InteriorsMatt oversees SouthLand's Interior Buildout division. With over eight years of experience in the field and four in the office, Matt is comfortable handling 70-80 jobs a year. He enjoys keeping projects moving quickly and particularly excels at working efficiently. Managing the build of over 30 Verizon retail stores throughout the Southeast gave him great experience dealing with various codes and jurisdictions in each city. Whether large or small, Matt treats each client's job with a high level of importance.When he's not working, Matt loves spending time with his wife and four children under the age of 6, along with their pets, a dog named Mikey and a cat named Mr. Darlin. |

Jill ConeComptrollerJill attended MTSU and has over 18 years of accounting experience. Every client will get to know and rely on Jill. She truly enjoys seeing things through to the end and will be with clients until everything is completed. She’s always had a strong personal work ethic and enjoys working at SouthLand where others share her dedication and commitment to hard work and getting things done right. She’s not satisfied until a job is done and done on time.When Jill's not working, she spends time with her best friend and husband Scott, their wonderful and precocious 15-year-old daughter, and their beloved pet lab. |

Craig NevelsBusiness Development & Preconstruction ManagerCraig is a seasoned construction and real estate development veteran with extensive experience on a diverse range of often complex projects, including high-rise office and multi-family, mixed-use, senior living, retail, healthcare, educational, and religious facilities. Craig¹s primary focus is business development and preconstruction for SouthLand Constructors. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, having earned a bachelor¹s degree in construction management.When Craig is not working, he is spending time with family and friends including his wife, Zan, children Stephanie and Alex, spouses Scott and Bailey, granddaughter Bella, and yellow Labrador Lucy. Jeremy LangeSenior Project ManagerBefore working 18 years in the industry, Jeremy earned a degree in civil engineering from Michigan Tech University. Jeremy works with clients to manage the costs of their projects to ensure they stay on budget. He enjoys the variety of projects at SouthLand Constructors, such as the 100-year-old downtown Nashville building converted into a parking garage, retail space and 30 condos. He’s also glad to be at SouthLand because of the quality-of-life for employees that is part of the company’s mission.When not at work Jeremy spends his time with his family, which includes 2 1/2 kids--a seven-year-old son, a four-year-old daughter, and a black Labrador.

Jeff ClonceSenior Project ManagerJeff brings a wealth of experience estimating and managing healthcare construction projects to his role at SouthLand. He served as project manager on the construction of Nashville's Skyline Medical Center and Medical Plaza, and the Bedford County Medical Center in Shelbyville, among a myriad of other projects across the country. Jeff particularly enjoys the complexity of medical construction, and has a reputation for being extremely meticulous with details.Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family. He has a son, Quinton, and daughter, Taylor.

Greg EstesSenior Project ManagerHaving graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Building Science, Greg has over 25 years experience in the construction of medical, office, industrial, and institutional projects in 24 states across the country. His range of projects includes extensive design-build experience in medical and logistical projects. Greg always welcomes new logistical, phasing, and scheduling challenges and enjoys seeing new places when managing construction projects across the country. Greg enjoys golf, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family.Why SouthLand? Adam KanProject ManagerHaving earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, Adam has been well prepared for his integral part in the work of SouthLand Constructors. He uses his background to explain the process of building to clients. Always excited to see new projects, Adam enjoys the variety of builds that SouthLand has been involved in. He continually tries to extend the family atmosphere within SouthLand to each client he meets.Outside of work, Adam enjoys time outdoors and riding his motorcycle on the open road. |

Andrea RoneyBusiness ManagerAndrea oversees accounts payable for SouthLand. With over 16 years of experience in construction accounting, she ensures that vendors and subcontractors are paid in a timely manner. She is always ready for the next challenge and eager to help in any area.
